The Drop That Overflowed the Glass
2019 · Video performance · 3 min 31 s
Camera: Milovan Topić This performance explores the boundaries of tolerance through the symbolism of continuously dripping water into a glass. Although the drops accumulate, the glass never fully fills, instead overflowing with the impact of each new drop. The work reflects the gradual build-up of pressure and frustration, without a definitive breaking point, suggesting the cyclical nature of pressures we face. Through this process, the performance raises questions about personal and societal boundaries of tolerance and how they are subtly obscured by everyday experiences.
